"GRATITUDE TO MY GOHONZON"
It is very difficult to express the deep gratitude I have for my Gohonzon. Having the great fortune of having received it twice in one lifetime is in itself pheonominal. To have it during this very trying time of my life is unbelievable.
The deep joy I feel in my life is derived from my faith and practice. Study of the Gosho strengthens my practice. A stronger practice deepens my faith and deeper faith brings great joy in my life.
Each time I go before my Gohonzon I go with great gratitude. I pray that I may deepen my faith, thereby deepen my understanding of life, so that I may be able to extend my hand to all who are seeking hope and lead them to my Gohonzon.
"WHEN I FOUND YOU"
I don't know how I survived
before I found you
I was lost and afraid and
very sad and lonely
And then a miracle, a wonderful
experience happened
There you were just standing there
smiling at me
Your eyes as bright as stars and
your smile full of warmth
Everything about you was inviting
like a Thanksgiving Dinner
I fell in love with you at that
very moment and I knew
That I would spend my life
with you forever
You have penetrated my life
with peace, love, compassion
And if I live but one more day
I pray that I may live that day
WITH YOU,
FOR YOU
AND BECAUSE OF YOU
Thank You.
